Stand for Her

A Celebration Honoring Women Veterans

Saturday, August 29, 2026
Battle Creek, Michigan

Stand for Her is a welcoming community celebration created to honor female veterans and provide a space where they can relax, connect, gather valuable information, and simply enjoy being served.

Admission is free for female veterans with proof of veteran status. Family members are also welcome. Because seating and space are limited, all veterans and guests must register in advance. The property can comfortably accommodate approximately 60 veterans and family members altogether.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs when possible, although a limited number of chairs will be available.

The event will feature live entertainment from a band or music provided by a DJ, along with space for dancing, relaxing, conversation, friendship, and fellowship. We are also working to bring two or three local food trucks to the event, giving Battle Creek entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their food, talent, and businesses.

An informational area will be located in the parking area near the garage. Women veterans will be able to meet representatives, explore available services, and gather information about organizations and resources that may provide support to them and their families.

Most importantly, this event is an opportunity for women veterans to breathe, enjoy themselves, build new relationships, reconnect with others, and spend time in a space created with them in mind.

Welcome to a Historic Community Space

Guests will be welcomed to my historic home in Battle Creek—a property that served this community for generations. It is a privilege to open its doors once again and breathe new life into this incredible space.

This is more than a home. Through Beyond Beautiful Interactive Engagements Foundation, it is becoming a place for connection, community, education, celebration, service, and opportunity.

I have personally invested countless hours restoring this historic property room by room. Every project has been completed with the goal of honoring the history of the home while preparing it to serve the community once again.

My vision is to create a welcoming environment where people can gather, learn, celebrate, develop relationships, and support one another. Whether you represent a nonprofit organization, community group, church, educational program, business, or another organization seeking a unique historic setting, I welcome a conversation about how this space may be able to support your work.

This house is not simply about me. It will remain long after I am gone. I consider myself an ambassador for the place where God has positioned me and a steward of the opportunity to use it in service to others.

On August 29, it will be my honor to serve the women who have served our country. As the founder, visionary, president, consultant, and ambassador of Beyond Beautiful Interactive Engagements Foundation, I invite our female veterans to come, relax, enjoy the music, meet new people, gather helpful information, and allow us to celebrate you.

Advance registration is required because attendance is limited to approximately 60 veterans and family members.
